It’s Fall, and we’re reaping the benefits of the summer’s bounty here at Hill-Ross. We’re also preparing for the winter, stacking wood for our Saw Mill and Main House stoves, turning the beds to prepare for a long winter’s nap, and making sure all the animals have their barn areas ready for colder weather. We’re excited about the festivities too- All Hallow’s Eve will soon be here; with carved pumpkins, warm cider and a friendly scare crow or two.
During each tour, you’ll learn the history of the home, the legacy of the property, it’s role on the underground railroad and the families that are apart of its history. Book now to learn more. There will be light refreshments for purchase and a souvenir of your visit.
